Mark Pflederer

As the Caterpillar African American Network continues to build on its community involvement, it is helping to shape the lives of community youth. Caterpillar Vice President of Heavy Construction and Mining Division, Mark Pflederer has helped shape the future of the Caterpillar African American affinity group. Pflederer has been instrumental in working with the National Society of Engineers (NSBE), supporting Caterpillar’s involvement with Circle City Classic, promoting affinity group activities among Caterpillar officers and sponsoring external speakers to share best practices regarding diversity at Strategic Review Conference (SRC) and Juneteenth celebrations.
Mark Pflederer, Vice President Heavy Construction and Mining Division, Caterpillar Inc, is this year’s Romeo B. Garrett Award recipient. Mr. Pflederer is an advisor and mentor for the Caterpillar African American Network and has been instrumental in recruiting, mentoring and developing diversity initiatives at Caterpillar. |
